Value of open data information in communicating infectious disease risks (2020)

This project critically examines how open data have been used to share information about covid-19 with the specific objective of identifying better ways for information to be communicated between data custodians and the public.

Evaluation of learning games that communicate risk of low probability high consequence (LPHC) events (2020-2024)

In this recently funded study, we will evaluate the efficacy of learning games in communicating risk to the public. We are in the process of developing two learning games that participants will play, and compare the information acquisition among these participants against control groups.
